Modly

First, a mod apology -- I have read all the fics at least once, but have not commented. *hides in shame* So sorry! I will, really I will.

Second, all participants are now free to repost their stories anywhere they like as well as linking to the posts here.

Third, thank you all for making this a very low-stress and delightful exchange for its third year. I haven't thought ahead to next year yet; will see how things go. Have a marvelous 2008, all!

Finally, just a breakdown on participation this year:

For mizbean: Is that a Dagger in your Scabbard or are you Just Happy to See Me?

Title: Is that a Dagger in your Scabbard or are you Just Happy to See Me?
Recipient: mizbean
Fandom: HP
Author: juniperus
Pairing: Draco/Harry
Rating: PG13
Warnings: innuendo, darling, innuendo
Summary: In Celtic mythology the Oak King and the Holly King are twins. Every year at the Winter and Summer Solstices (the points of the year at shortest and longest daylight, after which the length of day waxes or wanes, as the case may be), these two fight for dominance. Just like our boys…
Notes: A houppelande is medieval, it refers to a particular style of long tunic with wide or baggy sleeves. A chaperon a circular piece of clothing worn over the shoulders that comes down nearly to the elbow (picture an exceptionally short cape). Traditional celebration + wizarding society = medieval, in my mind.
